Happy Merry...

Mostly just want to offer a little holiday wish to all - may the new year bring joy, peace, and healing for all.

We had baked yams for Christmas lunch today. Baked to very mushy, loaded with butter, a little bit of shredded cheddar melted in, and some whipped cream cheese mixed in, for yummy soft food meal. Biff is taking forever to eat it, but he truly seems to be enjoying it!

One of many experiments we'll be trying the next few months. And a successful one! Woohoo!!

We learned on Friday that no teeth will need to be extracted due to the radiation treatment, which was great to hear. We will be trying to get some fillings taken care of this next week though. 

We'll need to find a dentist who can make it happen asap, around Biff's doctor appointments. We'll be asking for local recommendations tomorrow. Biff usually goes to UCLA Dental School (he doesn't have any dental insurance), and the School is closed this next week, so...

I'm pushing to make this happen because the dental doctor on the Team is suggesting a dental treatment during radiation to help protect those sensitive teeth - but it will permanently turn his teeth black!?!?! No thanks! Anyway...

Taking it easy today. Zooming with family later this afternoon. Watching basketball, sports, etc. We taped the tribute to Paul Simon that aired last Wednesday and saved it to watch tonight. Big fans. Will be fun.

I'm grateful to spend the day with my guy, my husband! Today is not only Christmas... Today is our 4th Anniversary (+36 years together before we got official).

And we'll take 2023 one day at a time, together.
